How to remove yourself from Cotality (formerly CoreLogic)

First, check whether you're listed

Search your name on Cotality (formerly CoreLogic) with each city you've lived in, and look for your age and relatives to be sure it's you. The free planner gives you a one-click web search for your name on this site.

Send the removal request

  1. Open the Cotality privacy policy and scroll to the privacy rights section
  2. Open the Online Privacy Portal link
  3. Choose opt out of sale or sharing of your personal data and fill in your details
  4. California residents can instead call 1-866-221-9291
  5. Expect that Cotality may decline some requests because of legal exemptions

After you send it

Keep the confirmation email, and search again in a week or two to make sure the listing is gone. People-search sites often add people back months later from new records, so look again every few months. The planner reminds you when, and keeps a dated record of each step.

Your details stay with you

The planner runs in your browser. What you type is saved on your device only, and nothing in the planner sends it anywhere, including to us. You send every request yourself.
