How to remove yourself from Dun
- What it is: Marketing data broker.
- Time: about 10 minutes.
- What it asks for: a confirmation link sent to your email.
- Privacy email: PrivacyOfficer@dnb.com
You won't find a public listing
Dun sells profiles to advertisers and other companies rather than showing them on a search page, so you send the request without checking first.
Send the removal request
- Open the Dun and Bradstreet privacy notice and find the Your Privacy Choices or Do Not Sell form
- Choose the Individual Rights request and select Professional Contact Data (and Consumer Data if it applies)
- Validate your email when D&B sends the check
- Outlook plug-in data only: call 1-800-234-3867 or email custservprivacy@dnb.com

After you send it
Keep the confirmation. A company covered by a state privacy law usually has 45 days to answer, and some have longer. If the answer is no, or no answer comes, the planner writes the follow up, the appeal and the complaint to your state regulator.
