How to remove yourself from LexisNexis Risk Solutions (consumer)

First, check whether you're listed

Search your name on LexisNexis Risk Solutions (consumer) with each city you've lived in, and look for your age and relatives to be sure it's you. The free planner gives you a one-click web search for your name on this site.

Send the removal request

1. Open the opt-out page and choose Submit a Request Online
2. Pick what to opt out of: Direct Marketing, Prescreen, or personal safety suppression
3. Enter name, address and date of birth, plus an SSN or driver's license number if you want the most precise match
4. Submit and keep your confirmation

After you send it

Keep the confirmation email, and search again in a week or two to make sure the listing is gone. People-search sites often add people back months later from new records, so look again every few months. The planner reminds you when, and keeps a dated record of each step.
