How to remove yourself from PeopleFinders

First, check whether you're listed

Search your name on PeopleFinders with each city you've lived in, and look for your age and relatives to be sure it's you. The free planner opens that search with your name already filled in, for every name and place you give it.

Send the removal request

  1. Open the PeopleFinders opt-out page and press Next on the first form
  2. Click the verification link emailed from support@peoplefinders.com within 24 hours
  3. Fill in the Record Suppression Form with first name, last name, email and street address
  4. Watch for the decision email because it accepts or rejects you based on your state

After you send it

Keep the confirmation email, and search again in a week or two to make sure the listing is gone. People-search sites often add people back months later from new records, so look again every few months. The planner reminds you when, and keeps a dated record of each step.
