How to remove yourself from ThatsThem
- What it is: People-search site.
- Time: about 5 minutes.
First, check whether you're listed
Search your name on ThatsThem with each city you've lived in, and look for your age and relatives to be sure it's you. The free planner opens that search with your name already filled in, for every name and place you give it.
Send the removal request
- Open the opt-out page
- Enter your full name, street address, city, state, ZIP, email and phone as they appear on your listing
- Submit the request. They say requests are processed within about 72 hours and they email a confirmation
- Search again after a few days to confirm the listing is gone

After you send it
Keep the confirmation email, and search again in a week or two to make sure the listing is gone. People-search sites often add people back months later from new records, so look again every few months. The planner reminds you when, and keeps a dated record of each step.
Your details stay with you
The planner runs in your browser. What you type is saved on your device only, and nothing in the planner sends it anywhere, including to us. You send every request yourself.
