How to remove yourself from TruePeopleSearch

First, check whether you're listed

Search your name on TruePeopleSearch with each city you've lived in, and look for your age and relatives to be sure it's you. The free planner opens that search with your name already filled in, for every name and place you give it.

Send the removal request

  1. Search your name on TruePeopleSearch and open your listing
  2. Copy the listing address from the browser bar
  3. Open the removal page, enter your name and an email you can open right now, and pass the captcha
  4. Click the link they email you within 24 hours and fill in the form so it matches your listing
  5. Submit and keep the confirmation email

After you send it

Keep the confirmation email, and search again in a week or two to make sure the listing is gone. People-search sites often add people back months later from new records, so look again every few months. The planner reminds you when, and keeps a dated record of each step.

Your details stay with you

The planner runs in your browser. What you type is saved on your device only, and nothing in the planner sends it anywhere, including to us. You send every request yourself.
