How to remove yourself from USPhonebook
- What it is: People-search site.
- Time: about 5 minutes.
- What it asks for: a captcha, a confirmation link sent to your email.
First, check whether you're listed
Search your name on USPhonebook with each city you've lived in, and look for your age and relatives to be sure it's you. The free planner opens that search with your name already filled in, for every name and place you give it.
Send the removal request
- Open the removal page and enter your name and email
- Pass the captcha and click the link they email you within 24 hours
- Fill in the form so it matches the record you want removed
- Submit and allow about 3 days for removal

After you send it
Keep the confirmation email, and search again in a week or two to make sure the listing is gone. People-search sites often add people back months later from new records, so look again every few months. The planner reminds you when, and keeps a dated record of each step.
Your details stay with you
The planner runs in your browser. What you type is saved on your device only, and nothing in the planner sends it anywhere, including to us. You send every request yourself.
