How to remove yourself from AnyWho
- Easier way: one request at Spokeo covers AnyWho and 0 other sites.
- What it is: People-search site.
- Time: about 5 minutes.
- What it asks for: the web address of your listing, a confirmation link sent to your email, a captcha.
First, check whether you're listed
Search your name on AnyWho with each city you've lived in, and look for your age and relatives to be sure it's you. The free planner opens that search with your name already filled in, for every name and place you give it.
Send the removal request
- Search your name on spokeo.com and open your listing
- Copy the full listing web address
- Paste it on the Spokeo opt-out page with an email and finish the captcha
- Click the confirmation link emailed to you

After you send it
Keep the confirmation email, and search again in a week or two to make sure the listing is gone. People-search sites often add people back months later from new records, so look again every few months. The planner reminds you when, and keeps a dated record of each step.
