First, check whether you're listed
Search your name on Spokeo with each city you've lived in, and look for your age and relatives to be sure it's you. The free planner opens that search with your name already filled in, for every name and place you give it.
Send the removal request
- Search your name on spokeo.com and open the listing that is you
- Copy the full listing web address from your browser
- Paste it on the opt-out page with an email address and finish the captcha
- Click the confirmation link emailed to you within 72 hours

After you send it
Keep the confirmation email, and search again in a week or two to make sure the listing is gone. People-search sites often add people back months later from new records, so look again every few months. The planner reminds you when, and keeps a dated record of each step.
